Taming of the Shrew

Synopsis:

Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, the reboot. Updated for 2019, this production offers a current and accessible version of the classic story. In the 400 years since the play was written, we’ve learned that corsets are nonsense and underwear should be comfy. Women are people, and men are human. Marriage can be nice, and so can sisters. We’ve discovered microorganisms, oxygen, absolute zero, and why the sky is blue. As a species we’ve grown closer, grown apart, grown healthier, grown up. This is not stuffy Elizabethan pageantry. This is a story of 21st century humans.
